Following last year's theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, last night's Met Ball had a futuristic focus to inaugurate the new exhibition, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. It saw its starry guests make a typically glamorous return to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's red carpet, with most choosing outfits in keeping with the fashion and technology theme. From Lady Gaga's computer-circuit-board bodice and Katy Perry's Tamagotchi accessory to Kate Hudson in shards of flexiglass and Zayn Malik's armoured sleeves - and metallics galore - see what the stars wore to the Met Gala 2016.
