Classified Evidence: US Soldiers Raped Boys In Front Of Their Mothers

According to a number of global mainstream media sources, the Pentagon is covering up a disturbing video that was never made public with the rest of the recent torture report.
According to various well respected journalists, including Seymour Hersh, the appalling video was recorded at Abu Ghraib, the notorious US torture dungeon in Iraq that made headlines roughly a decade ago, when the inhumane tactics being used at the prison were exposed.
Sadly, it seems that the evidence released years ago was only scratching the surface.
While the video has remained under wraps thus far, Hersh says it is only a matter of time before it comes out.
Giving a speech at the ACLU last week after the senate torture report was initially released, Hersh gave some insight into what was on the Pentagon’s secret tape.
In the most revealing portion of his speech he said that:
“Debating about it, ummm … Some of the worst things that happened you don’t know about, okay? Videos, um, there are women there. Some of you may have read that they were passing letters out, communications out to their men. This is at Abu Ghraib …The women were passing messages out saying ‘Please come and kill me, because of what’s happened’ and basically what happened is that those women who were arrested with young boys, children in cases that have been recorded. The boys were sodomized with the cameras rolling. And the worst above all of that is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking that your government has. They are in total terror. It’s going to come out.”
“It’s impossible to say to yourself how did we get there? Who are we? Who are these people that sent us there? When I did My Lai I was very troubled like anybody in his right mind would be about what happened. I ended up in something I wrote saying in the end I said that the people who did the killing were as much victims as the people they killed because of the scars they had, I can tell you some of the personal stories by some of the people who were in these units witnessed this. I can also tell you written complaints were made to the highest officers and so we’re dealing with a enormous massive amount of criminal wrongdoing that was covered up at the highest command out there and higher, and we have to get to it and we will. We will. You know there’s enough out there, they can’t (Applause). …. So it’s going to be an interesting election year.”
Put into context with another speech that Hersh gave earlier this year, it becomes clear that the women who witnessed these young boys being raped were actually their mothers.
At a speech in Chicago this past June Hersh was quoted as saying:
“You haven’t begun to see evil… horrible things done to children of women prisoners, as the cameras run.”
Other stories at the London Guardian also talked of young Iraqi detainees getting violently raped by US soldiers.
Ten years ago when the initial Abu Ghraib scandal was in the news, the Guardian published the testimony of an Abu Ghraib detainee who allegedly witnessed one of these brutal attacks.
“I saw [name blacked out] fucking a kid, his age would be about 15-18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard the screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn’t covered and I saw [blacked out], who was wearing the military uniform putting his dick in the little kid’s ass, I couldn’t see the face of the kid because his face wasn’t in front of the door. And the female soldier was taking pictures.”
Now, over a decade later the evidence of these events are beginning to surface, but the Department of Defense is still doing their best to keep it under the radar. That is why now more than ever, it is important to keep the pressure on and force the release of this evidence, while the torture report is fresh in the minds of the general population.

SET NNAMDI KALU FREE

From Ojukwu To Nnamdi Kanu: Another Thought.
One of the greatest crowd I have ever witnessed was in 1982 when HE General Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu visited Aba, after being pardoned by the highly respected President Sheuh Shagari. A man I love so much and still do.
The turn out was unprecedented, the emotions, love and respect showered on the former Biafrian leader was beyond human comprehension. Till he die, Ojukwu commanded a special place in the minds of millions of Igbos round the world. His burial was not a burial, it was a ceremony to crown a god, honour an oracle and announce to the world beyond that the earth has lost a gem.
You see why most Igbos ignored so many of President Jonathan's shortcomings and crowned him a king. He did a simple thing: at death, he made sure our leader got a national burial. It might look ironic but, you are forgetting one thing:Ojukwu was our hero and he restored our pride by honouring him at death. That simple act made us-Igbo to have a sense of belonging and started feeling belonged 40 years after the war.
The essence of my story is to draw President Buhari's attention to the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu and make him see reason why he should be released.
All these love, respect and admiration that was showered on Ojukwu in 1982 and his burial like a god was because of one thing; BIAFRA.
Nothing else, nothing more.
There was a Biafra that existed for 3years and it was the 3 most frustrating and horrifying years that has affected the psych of every Igbo family. Stories are being told at homes, books written and issues raised that leads to regrets and revelations of sad memories.
After the war, Gen. Gowon promised us, "rehabilitation, reconstruction and restoration" it never happened. The love, care, and pacification that ought to follow was rather followed with ossification, discrimination and rejection.
Shagari, IBB and Jonathan remains the only leaders that has come close to giving us a sense of belonging. In Shagari was a national builder who betrayed no atom of dislike, hatred or sense of, "them and us". IBB in every aspect showed us that we were his in-law's. While Jonathan took us as a family. OBJ could have earned being mentioned because he tried for us in his second coming. But, he's constant reminder and the blunder of yelling at us to wait for 200 because we lost the war opened a healed wound.
That after over 40years the war ended an Nnamdi Kanu sprang up and have a ready audience made up of his fathers, the educated etc will reveal something to you.
And the revelation is that the issue is not Nnamdi Kanu. There's something beyond him that attracted attention to his Radio Biafra.
To look at Nnamdi Kanu and decided to punish him or use him to set an example is to live in denial of the truth.
Nnamdi Kanu is just symptom. If you want to cure the disease look for the cause.
There was Ojukwu that was suppressed with a combined heavy force, east and Igbos bombard and killed and 30 years an Uwazurike sprang up and through that same effect go followers. Over 40 years later we are dealing with Nnamdi Kanu. That will tell you that there's an unaddressed issues beyond these personalities.
Kill Nnamdi Kanu, jail him, lock him up as long as you desire, since that effect is still there, tomorrow another person will spring up. It will be a sad story if the next Nnamdi Kanu will appear carrying arms with followers who are ready die on guerilla warfare because of how Nnamdi Kanu is being treated today.
As the president of Nigeria, you have highest 8 years to stay. You might be tough, no nonsense, intolerant of the issues playing out today but, after the you, who takes over the stage? Will such share similar characteristics with you?
Believe me, it might seem like a weakness on your side but, I must advice. Set that young man free and engage him directly or indirectly. You see, locking up Nnamdi Kanu is to inflame and justify the very reason that made Radio Biafra popular. He was saying that his people were being maltreated unjustly and you just played into his hand. His people shared similar opinion that was why Radio Biafra was so popular.
In his continued detention and with the events coming up daily especially, the Fulani herdsmen killing of his people, you are not really detaining Nnamdi Kanu, he's rather the one detaining you. It will come to a point where he will be stocked with you and you don't know exactly what to do with him. That's, if you are not already battling with that.
The truth is that, you are in the real sense of it preparing another Nnamdi Kanu who will simply learn from his mistakes. You are creating a larger audience another Nnamdi Kanu and Radio Biafra. You are creating awareness and sympathy for him throughout the international communities. You are giving reason for his people to gather in Sweden, Denmark, Britain, USA and Canada and request for his release. No matter how you look at it, you have turned him into a political prisoner. And in doing that, you are creating a little Mandela out of West Africa.
Nnamdi Kanu is not the issue. The issue is Biafra. Be a leader. Sit back and think. As far as most of the issues that the Biafrian crusaders feed on still exist the struggle will continue. Forget the politicians dancing around you and look for real Igbo leaders and have a round table meeting and handover their son to them and tell them to warn him. Engage us instead of jailing us. Your hardliner attitude has failed, why not try pampering. Be a father. You have barked. This is time to extend the other hand in love and see the outcome. The positive difference it will make might redirect the nation from brinks of collapse.

Set Nnamdi Kanu free. So far, his continued detention has won the sympathy of millions of people who were before against him. The more you lock him up the more you empower protest around Europe. The more the protest the faster you bring up the Biafrian question to be discussed internationally. Today, the world is dynamic and it just take a single drama or a single European personality that buys into their story to change the dynamics.
Set Nnamdi Kanu Free.

Nigerian lady Ronke, 'Beaten to Death' by Her Husband; He's On The Run

Too many men and women are in marriages they are not happy with today, but rather than seek prayers to get to the root of their issues and resolve it or separate in peace, they apply cosmetic approach.

What would make a man kill his wife or a woman kill her husband? Some demonic inspired violence!

The beautiful lady pictured above, Ronke Bewaji Shonde, was found dead yesterday morning at their home at Tiemo Crescent off Awori street in Egbeda area of Lagos, and her husband, Lekan Shonde, is missing.

He is believed to have beaten her to death during a domestic dispute and immediately took off...

A family friend who reported the case said Ronke and Lekan had a fight in the early hours of yesterday as their kids were sleeping. One neighbor later said he heard noise coming from their flat early in the morning but didn’t think it was something serious.

Around 7am, the couple’s nanny came to the house to resume work only to find the house locked and no one was opening the door. She tried to call Ronke but her phone was switched off. She peeped through the window only to find the couple’s 6 and 4 year old kids crying and saying they couldn’t wake their mum up.
Neighbors gathered and forcefully opened the door to find Ronke’s lifeless body on the floor with blood gushing from her head. Lekan was nowhere to be found. Ronke’s phone was also missing. He’d locked the kids with their dead mum in the house and taken off with her phone.

Her body has been deposited at the mortuary. She was in her mid-30s. I hope police will get the man!

KIM AND KANYE: WE NEVER 'FIRED' THAT BODYGUARD ... He Was Only a Temp.

kanye west has no issue with bodyguards talking to Kim Kardashian, and absolutely did NOT fire one for doing so.
Sources close to the Wests tell TMZ ... Steve Stanulis was hired by the guy in charge of their security to help out before the Met Gala. We're told it was very clear Stanulis would only be used for the day leading up to the event. That's it, just a temp deal ... we're told.
There were reports 'Ye axed Stanulis for talking to Kim, but we're told Yeezy never had a confrontation with him, and in fact ... everything "went very smoothly".
Our Kimye sources say Stanulis has worked with them before, but since people in their camp believe he perpetuated the firing story for some publicity ... he won't get that chance again.

Mrs. Onwuzuruike & Her Boyfriend Sentenced to Death for Killing Her Husband

The fear of God is the most important quality you should look for in a wife; if she lacks it, stay away!
A housewife, Mrs Josephine Onwuzuruike and her secret lover, Ekene Onyeka, were on Thursday sentenced to death by hanging by Justice Benson Ogbuh of an Ebonyi State High Court.

Mrs. Onwuzuruike and Onyeka had in 2008, at Azuiyiokwu in Abakaliki, the state capital, butchered her husband and kept his body parts inside a cupboard. She claimed that she did it because her husband built another house other than the one they were living without her knowledge.

She then contacted her boyfriend Onyeka who joined her in killing her husband.

Delivering judgment, Justice Ogbuh found the accused persons guilty of the offence and convicted them. He sentenced them to death by hanging.

During trial, Mrs. Onwuzuruike broke down and wept uncontrollable. She begged the judge to be lenient on her because of her children. But the judge said he/she who kill must also be killed.

The so called boyfriend did not even say anything, after all he has seen the consequences of sleeping with a woman who is married. People just using their hands to destroy their lives for what? Sigh!

This spirit of competition; 'if my do this I will do that', is demonic. Wives, be submissive to your man.

More Nigerians want Saraki to resign over corruption trial — Poll

More Nigerians want Nigeria’s embattled senate president, Bukola Saraki, to step down from office as he faces corruption trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, a poll conducted by PREMIUM TIMES has shown.
The poll, sampling public opinion on whether Mr. Saraki should resign in view of his trial, ran on the newspapers’ site for two weeks ending May 5. It showed significant public support for Mr. Saraki’s resignation.
The poll had five structured answers from which a total of 5,454 respondents chose.
A total of 3,624 respondents, representing 66 per cent, chose “Yes, he is a corrupt person”, implying the senate president is corrupt and should stand down.
Another 652, representing 12 percent, also wanted Mr. Saraki to resign, choosing “yes, he does not represent APC change agenda”.
In sum, either because “he is a corrupt person” or “he does not represent APC change agenda”, 4,276 respondents, 78 per cent, voted that Mr. Saraki should resign.
Altogether, 647 respondents, representing 12 per cent, voted “No, his travails are just political vendetta”, while 315, representing six per cent, said the Senate President should not resign. The last group voted “No, he is innocent of all charges unless proven otherwise in court”.
Therefore, 962 respondents, 17.6 per cent, elected to stand with Mr. Saraki on his vow to stay in office unless he is ultimately convicted.
The remaining 223 respondents, or four per cent, said “I don’t care” whether Mr. Saraki resigns.
The Trial
Mr. Saraki, in charge number ABT/01/15 dated September 11, 2015 and filed before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, is accused of offences ranging from anticipatory declaration of assets to making false declaration of assets in forms he filed before the Code of Conduct Bureau while he was governor of Kwara state.
The senate president is also accused of failing to declare some assets he acquired while in office as governor.
Mr. Saraki is also accused of operating foreign accounts while being a public officer.
On April 18, three new corruption charges were added to the initial 13-counts.
Mr. Saraki denies wrongdoing, and pleaded “not guilty” to the amended charges.
The prosecution has called one witness, Michael Wetkas, from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to detail how Mr. Saraki allegedly looted Kwara State and brazenly converted state’s funds to personal use.
Mr. Saraki is yet to begin his defence.
Penalty if convicted
If eventually found guilty, the Code of Conduct Tribunal is empowered by the paragraph 18 (1)(2), Part 1 of the fifth schedule to the Constitution to remove Mr. Saraki from the National Assembly; bar him from holding any public office for a period not exceeding 10 years; and/or confiscate his properties determined as ones acquired in abuse or corruption of office.
Mr. Saraki has repeatedly accused the chairman of the Tribunal, Danladi Umar, of bias, expressing “big fear” he may not get justice from Mr. Umar.
He has filed a motion in the CCT asking Mr. Umar to disqualify himself from his trial. The motion was dismissed prompting him to seek relief of the Appeal Court to upturn the chairman’s ruling.
The senate president also alleges that his trial is politically motivated, having emerged Senate President in defiance of the position of his party, All Progressives Congress, which favoured Ahmed Lawan from Yobe State for the position.
Mr. Saraki has also subtly accused former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, of masterminding his travails, as retaliation for his opposition to Mr. Tinubu’s ambition to contest as Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate in the last presidential poll.
I won’t resign
Mr. Saraki has since vowed not to resign.  He told his colleagues in 2015 to “stand with me to defend the National Assembly!”
The Senate, last month, during a session led by Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, while his boss was attending trail at CCT, resolved to support its embattled President “to the end, except he is convicted”.

BREAKING: Buhari signs 2016 budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the the 2016 appropriation Act into law.
Mr. Buhari signed the budget in the presence of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, in his office at the presidential villa Abuja.
Others who witnessed the budget signing ceremony were the national chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, John Odigie-Oyegun and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
The 2016 budget estimates suffered several delays after claims and counter claims from both the legislature and executive arms, each accusing the other of padding the budget.
Mr. Buhari returned the budget to the National Assembly, saying key projects were removed and others not in the estimates he submitted were added.
A meeting was held last week with the leadership of the national assembly after which a committee was formed to look at all “grey areas” and harmoniss them in time for the president’s assent.
The National Assembly reportedly returned a “clean” copy of the budget to the president which he finally signed today.
Details of the final copy of the budget is unknown at this time.

Buhari Fails To Release Assets Declaration Document After CCB Verification

President Muhammadu Buhari has yet again reneged on his promise to make specific details of his assets public, failing to release comprehensive particulars of assets he filed to the Code of Conduct Bureau.

The president had said he would make full disclosure after verification of the listed items by the CCB.

A statement by the Code of Conduct Bureau on Wednesday said verification of the president’s assets had “since” been concluded.
On September 3, 2015, in the face of widespread criticisms, the presidency through Garba Shehu, a presidential spokesperson, had released only some details of assets and liabilities filed by President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The statement said Mr. Buhari had N30 million in his bank account before taking office on May 29, while Mr. Osinbajo had N94 million and $900,000.

It listed other assets of the president to include five houses in Kaduna, Daura, Kano and Abuja; two undeveloped plots of land, one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt.

Mr. Buhari also had farms, an orchard, ranch, livestock including 270 cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees, according to the statement. The president had an unstated “number of cars”.
Vice President Osinbajo owned 4-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City, Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at 2 Mosley Road, Ikoyi, the statement said.

He also had a 2-bedroom flat at the popular Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.

Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, he had shareholding in Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria – all based in Lagos.

The release lacked specific details such as addresses and value of listed houses, and assets of spouses and unmarried children under 18.
The announcement came after repeated refusal by the new government to fulfil its promise of making the president’s assets public within its first 100 days in office.

Initially, the presidency had told Nigerians that Mr. Buhari was awaiting verification of the declared assets by the Code of Conduct Bureau before going public.

A week away from the government’s 100th day in office, amid mounting criticism, the presidency and the ruling All Progressives Congress denied Mr. Buhari made any promise within his first 100 days in office. That claim was proven by PREMIUM TIMES to be untrue.
When the presidency finally released some details of the assets, it assured Nigerians that full disclosure contained in the filed documents would be made public immediately after verification by the CCB.

“As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the documents will be released to the Nigerian public and people can see for themselves,” the statement by Mr. Shehu had said.

But a statement by the Code of Conduct Bureau on Wednesday shows the president reneged on that promise.

The statement, issued in response to a news report that verification of assets and liabilities declared by Messrs. Buhari, Osinbajo, President of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and other top government officials, including Speaker Yakubu Dogara, had not been completed, CCB said it had concluded the process of verifying the declarations of the mentioned officials.

“The bureau wishes to inform the general public that it has since concluded the verification of assets declared by those mentioned in the said publication,” CCB said in a statement by its Head, Press and Protocol, Mohammed Idris.

While the statement did not disclose when the verification was concluded, it said the process was “since concluded”.

Some officials yet to declare assets
The statement also disclosed that there were still some government officials who were yet to comply with the law by declaring their assets and liabilities.

It however said the rate of compliance by public officers had increased since Mr. Buhari assumed office.

The bureau appealed to defaulting public officers to comply with the law by declaring their assets and liabilities to the bureau.
“The bureau will like to use this medium to appeal to those who are yet to declare their assets to visit the Asokoro, Head Office of No 23, Halle Salasi Street Asokoro, Abuja to collect, fill and submit same to the office,” said the statement.
“It could be observed that since the inception of the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari, the rate of compliance by public officials in responding to assets declaration has greatly increased,” said the statement.
Apparently referring to Mr. Saraki who is facing corruption trial at the Code of Conduct, CCB added that, “Therefore, the said publication is another trick to misinform the public so as to undermine the ongoing trials of cases of false declaration of assets before the Code of Conduct Tribunal”.

The presidency did not respond to requests for comment for this story. Mr. Buhari’s spokespersons, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, did not respond to calls and text messages to their phones.
